For more than 200 years, Princeton Theological Seminary has been a leader in theological scholarship because of its preeminent biblical scholars and theologians. With C:BCL + ONLINE, we have partnered with the Center for Black Church Studies to open the doors of our classrooms to the world.

The online certificate of Black Church Leadership is the brainchild of the Rev. Kermit Moss—Interim Director of the Center for Black Church Studies at Princeton Theological Seminary. Kermit Moss is a PhD candidate in the area of Practical Theology (Christian Education and Formation) at Princeton Theological Seminary and has research interests in the intersection of theology, identity, spirituality, pneumatology, urban youth, and hip-hop/pop culture. In addition, Kermit currently serves as senior pastor of Manhattan Bible Church which is located in the Inwood neighborhood in Northern Manhattan (NYC).

COST & FINANCIAL AID

The fee for the 14-week C:BCL + ONLINE program is $400. Payment will be requested after you are accepted to the program. The fee covers all three courses and must be received by Princeton Theological Seminary before the online platform opens for your cohort. The cost of the course does not include books or other materials.
